Healing and Giving

Surrounded by family and friends, and with some time for reflection on all we have to be grateful for, Thanksgiving imagesweekend was a time for healing and giving.

There is a direct link between healing and giving thanks. In studying Soul Healing Miracles by Dr. and Master Sha, we learn that the first step towards any healing is giving thanks to the creator and all beings who share our higher soul purpose. During Thanksgiving we are able to stop our normal flow of activities and focus on resting or undertaking leisure activities that can nurture what ails us or requires attention. We do not need to limit this attention to physical issues only. Often the holidays can be a time to heal emotional wounds and, as I am learning not just from Dr. and Master Sha but also from my other wonderful healing client, Uwe Albrecht, M.D., emotional issues are often at the heart of physical maladies.

I do have concerns for humanity when I observe the hyper-focus on material goods as a source of happiness. Many, if not the majority, of big box retailers were open for business as early as 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Of course Black Friday was a shopping frenzy throughout the United States. I am not against joyful shopping and gifting to our children and our friends and ourselves toys and electronics, furniture and art that can provide lasting joy throughout the year. It seems natural for modern humans to acquire and utilize such items. But let’s be careful not to go too far in the pursuit of such material goods. Ultimate happiness comes from being grateful and serving others. You will heal what ails you from such activities faster than the momentary joy that shopping and new clothes, cars, boats or other toys may give you.

I hope that all of you are enjoying great health and happiness. We all have challenges from time to time and I seem to be attracting ever greater experts on how we heal ourselves and our souls. I shared Thanksgiving with Dr. Albrecht and he helped my son heal a knee problem. I plan on spending more time with Dr. and Master Sha and learning more about his techniques and successes with a variety of both medical and  life challenges. I just read a review of Dr. Sha’s book which I share with you in this link: http://www.amazon.com/Soul-Healing-Miracles-Knowledge-Techniques/product-reviews/1940363071/ref=dp_top_cm_cr_acr_txt?showViewpoints=1. I encourage you to explore Dr. Sha’s techniques. The book has already sold out its first printing of one hundred thousand copies in the first two weeks of publication and 150,000 additional copies will soon be available. This is a book that heals and gives clear direction to a purposeful life.

Thanksgiving is behind us, the holiday season is in full swing.  In between the shopping and parties, take some time to reflect on all you have; to share thoughts, feelings, and good times with those you love; to nurture yourself; and to give to those in need.  In these simple ways, you will lead up to the New Year feeling restored and ready to move forward with joy and purpose.
